  2. Sounds like you could make your own with something like the bells on the outside that rang a doorbell on the inside or a scratch at the door bell that rings when doggo scratches it.

  3. Five us an update viv! Did he learn how to use the bell himself?

  4. Maybe you could try the bells outside to get Jedi use to not scratching, then change over to the door bell. If Jedi is use to the bells inside, then it hopefully wouldn't take to long. Love your videos. I am half way through a vitchathon ( made up word for watching a lot of videos). Hi from Australia.

  5. If he can scratch the door Vivien he can press the bell….jus see how far up he scratched n place de bell there. So ya gotta watch where he scratches on the outside n put the bell there n when he hears the sound he wud pick up that he shud press de white thingy instead of mash up mommy's door. U can leave the inside one where it is since he accustomed to it

  6. Just so you know, I am NOT a dog trainer. I am possibly the WORST dog trainer on the planet. But, I have to say for puppies and even dogs if you just ring the bell (i used to do it with Christmas bells) as you go out to take them to the bathroom, eventually they WILL ring the bell to go out. It takes longer than training and NOT what is advertised, but would work well to let a busy person know to take the dog out with minimal effort. Just put leash on, ring the bell then go out. Eventually ANY dog will associate bell with going out, and do it to go out. It is one of the only things I have ever been able to successfully train, bc it is so easy. Wanted to add love your videos, so funny and helpful. Keep them coming.

  10. Ya know if you were to just leave Jedi's doorbells on the floor inside and out, and take small clips of the ribbons as well as two little bells off and gorilla glue a bell and ribbon onto each doorbell inside and out and then he will realize that this new doorbell means the same thing as just the bells! And make sure he sees you dismantling his bells and putting it all together on the new door bell buttons. We had done something kinda like this for our dog. And even though she was so pissed at me for dismantling her favorite toy, she had realized real quickly that we had just made it all better for her! Lol.

  13. The sound from the doorbell 'As-salฤmu สฟalaykum' is a greeting in Arabic that means "Peace be upon you".

  14. I wonder if you would have put a treat like taped a treat on the one outside if that would have triggered the doorbell like every time he goes outside tape a treat on it until he gets used to it

  17. Maybe smear some peanut butter on it and it goes off when the dog licks it? Then teach them that every time the bell signals you open the door?

  19. Yo like how crazy is that? Years ago, I found these large christmas bells in our basement when we first moved in and I fashioned together the bells with a christmasy sash for the holidays but once we got a dog thats how our pit would let us know he needed to out. We've been using the bells for all our dogs ever since then.

  23. This vid was so funny to watch, jedi is so adorable , it's almost nauseating lmao, i love him. On a serious now, i hope u stick the other bell bak on the outer door to try it again, All u gotta do is place it where he's used to scratch on thedoor to come bakin, wwhenu hear him scratch to come in DONT rush to open it, let him keep tryin 2 get ur attention, bcuz u put it where he normally scratches, he'll see it's the same thing inside that he presses 2 get out & he WILL get it. B4 u know it, he'll stop scratching the door & will press his paw ovr the bell & it's sensitive enough to go off. And yesit actually goes off when on the wall instead of the floor, it's nor hard for dogs to put their paw on it to set it off. You don't gotta stay & train him for the outside one u did the hard wrk on the one inside, now that he knows wat it is, just place it where he already scratches his paw on the outter door & boom. Hope u try it again & film when he does it. Look up jenna marbles, jus to see how she did it on her door too, she trained 2 at once i believe. Love the vid tfs ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ
