  1. Hi, I have the same wolfdog hes learnt some tricks but he's scared of people other than his family. So it's hard for him to go for a walk. He's 1 and a half years old now. I take him for walks often to get him used to it but he tries to run away when he sees other people. Especially males and adults. But he loves other dogs. What can I do?

  3. If you want your dog to behave in that way why not just get a lab and save all these trouble, not fair with the dog and the owner.

  4. If you want a wolfdog please remember they are part wolves and they need an alpha otherwise that why he was food agressive. It would really be much easier if he was shown who was alpha and rolling him over is less harmfull then shock collars. My dog was food agressive a simple roll done the job now I can just walk up to him, call his name and he will move and let me take even the most pricest thing he was chewing on. Dog and wolf behaviour are quiet similar but wolves have bigger heads therefore they are more intellegant meaning they will outsmart you and not follow your orders. And dont forget he's a wolf he will someday run of after a bird or something happens with dogs as well

  5. 1. Don’t get a wolf dog if you won’t be able to train it.
    2. The before videos were disgusting, of course the dog didn’t understand a thing you did when you repeatedly yanked and yelled at him.

  6. Terrible I have worked with many wolfdog breeds as well as specialise in German shepherd and this is terrible training, people say wolf dogs are not like normal dogs…. True but I've trained all clients ones similar with a few adjustments but mostly the same, I've never or will use shock collars even on protection dogs I train and have 100% success in the bite work etc… Sorry all my opinion and professional opinions.

  12. Im not trying to sound rude but,
Wolf dogs are not pets, these are very normal behaviors for them (they are part wolf you have to remember)

They do not need dog training, they need animal behavior specialists.

  14. First the dog has a bone, then a bully stick. Huge difference. And once again a shock collar is used. Pretty sad
